Willow Point

About the Accommodation

Willow Point is located on a magnificent twelve-hectare private, nature, and water-fronted site on the Swart River and Swartvlei lagoon, in the lake district between George and Knysna. The hill and floodplain locations are dense with indigenous vegetation, and the house commands lofty 180-degree views of the lake. Outward Bound runs the land and occasionally offers challenging courses for children on the tree-lined floodplain and access to various water activities. The Explorers Club supports this program.

The double-story main home boasts 180-degree views from the main terrace and an open kitchen, living room, and dining space. The three en-suite bedrooms can accommodate four adults and four children. In addition, two two-bedroom cabins can accommodate up to four more people each. The main house can be rented individually. The cabins are an add-on to the main house and are not rented separately.

Swartvlei Lagoon is one of many lakes in the Wilderness National Park. It is the longest and deepest, and it attracts a variety of bird species. The lake is connected to the sea for six months of the year, and this is a lovely area to relax with family while enjoying the majestic views and nature that surround you.
