Oxbow Country Estate is situated about 25km south of Bronkhorstspruit, just off the R25. Oxbow consists of 18 luxury guest rooms as well as a beautiful glass-fronted venue overlooking the meandering oxbow lakes on the estate. Early morning or afternoon walks or drives into the grasslands and wetlands on the estate can present a number of wetland highlights such as African Crake, Orange-breasted and Common Waxbills, African Swamphen, Red-chested Flufftail, Marsh Owl, Lesser Swamp and Little Rush Warblers; along with grassland specials like the Blue Crane, Spotted Thick-knees, Common Quail, Cape Longclaw and Cloud Cisticolas, amongst others.
