Lucky Ngwenya is employed as BirdLife South Africa’s bird-guide-in-residence at the Wakkerstroom Tourism and Education Centre. He is known for his uncanny ability to track down the various grassland specials and endemics in the area such as cranes, bustards, korhaans, and larks.
