Cape Vulture Lodge

About the Accommodation

At Cape Vulture Lodge, our name means everything. We are dedicated to the conservation of more than 728 breeding pairs of endangered Cape vultures nesting on the cliffs of the Northern Drakensberg Escarpment that towers above us.

Each of Cape Vulture Lodge’s nine solar-powered tented suites is a safari experience in its own right. Light, bright and very airy, the focus is on clean, elegant design inspired by the wilderness with crisp white linen accented by rich tribal textiles and elegant, minimalistic furnishings offset by the soft, ethereal flow of drapes and mosquito nets. The look and feel is an effortless blend of “Scandi” and safari with uncompromising levels of luxury and comfort that tread lightly on the Earth.

All meals (breakfast, high tea & dinner), teas & coffees, still & sparkling water, fruit juice served with breakfast, complimentary WiFi in the main area, one guided on site activity (vulture viewing, nature walk, sunset drive, permaculture tour, mountain biking).
