Bird Club – Birdlife Plettenberg Bay

More about the bird club:
Birdlife Plettenberg Bay was founded in May 1995 and over the past 27 years, has settled into a routine with regular events organised for the benefit of its present 335 members. These are: monthly dinner and a presentation, usually birding/conservation related, monthly birding outings, annual year end event [teams do a bird count for 3 hours followed by a braai], Annual Away Trip to an out of town suitable birding venue, Annual AGM.
All members fees and donations are distributed each year in support of: Birding Connect Program for students at local schools(NVT), #SharetheShores Program for protection of shorebirds, mainly the White-fronted Plover and African Oystercatcher(NVT), Organisations that help stranded and injured birds, Bird Ringing and Monitoring(NVT).
