Bird Club – Birdlife Inkwazi

More about the bird club:

We are a small (60 – 100 members) club which meets on the 3rd Tuesday evening of every month for a bird/nature-related talk, preceded by dinner in the Country Club’s restaurant if members choose (at their own cost). We organise a local outing with an expert guide on the last Sunday of the month (sometimes this changes to a Saturday), and two or three times a year we organise a weekend outing further afield. We also run bird walks once a month around the golf course on a Monday afternoon. We produce an electronic newsletter once a month on birding activities and birding information. We have members at all levels of birding expertise, from beginners to pretty good amateurs, and we like to think we are very sociable and friendly.

2023 will mark our 30th anniversary and we are planning various activities to celebrate this, including a birding challenge for the year, attempting to see as many species as possible in the Wider Gauteng area.
