More about the club:
We may be a relatively small club of 60–100 members, but we pride ourselves on being welcoming, vibrant, and passionate about birds and nature. Each month, we gather on the third Tuesday evening for an engaging bird or nature-related talk, often featuring guest speakers who share fascinating insights into their specialist topics. Many of our members also enjoy meeting beforehand for dinner at the Country Club restaurant (at their own cost), making it a lovely social occasion as well.
On the last Sunday of every month, we head out together on a local birding outing led by an experienced outing leader or professional bird guide (sometimes moved to a Saturday for convenience). In addition, two or three times a year, we venture further afield for exciting weekend getaways to explore new habitats and species.
To keep everyone connected and inspired, we publish a lively monthly electronic newsletter packed with updates on birding activities, sightings, and other valuable bird-related information. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned birder, you'll find a place at BirdLife Inkwazi – our members span all levels of experience, and what truly sets us apart is our friendly, sociable spirit.

Membership Options:
Membership is calculated annually, with an initial up-front joining fee of R175.00 per person.
