The African Edu-Eco team of professionals, led by Wayne Johnson (a Professional Field Guide, Dangerous Game Specialist, Marine Guide, and FGASA National Bird Guide), has developed several exciting and innovative Birding-in-Africa Mentorship Experiences. These are designed for individuals with curious minds and a desire to learn more about the African environment, its bird diversity, and the African bush. They explore the different species, their relationships, and the roles each plays within the ecosystem. These experiences are professionally crafted to be comprehensive, hands-on, transformational, immersive, fun, and exciting.
All Birding-In-Africa Mentorship Experiences are presented in a variety of regional birding hotspots in South and southern Africa. Destinations and locations within these regional birding hotspots comprise nature reserves, national parks, conservancies, established birding hotspots, wildlife hotspots, and private game reserves.
Our programs feature a 1:6 or 1:8 leader-to-participant ratio, emphasizing personalized care, attention, and a guided experience of the highest quality.
