Lucas has been in the guiding industry for 18 years. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Management from the University of South Africa. He has experience working in various conservation entities in both government and private sectors. When he is not guiding, he serves as an environmental consultant and avifauna observer. Birds are his passion, and he is keen to share his knowledge with young people and clients. He operates a charity organization in collaboration with Waterberg Tourism and Waterberg Biosphere Reserve to raise awareness and educate young people in the conservation field to combat and adapt to climate change.
