We offer 11 courses on Southern African birds, concentrating on the birding experience within South Africa. Presently, we offer downloadable courses only. We send you recordings of online courses that you can download as permanent copies for viewing as often as you like. Courses are well priced at R325 (3 sessions), R250 (2 sessions), or R150 (1 session). We do virtual vouchers with personalised messages for gifts.

1. Begin Birding with Aldo (3 sessions on the approach to and rewards of birding, techniques and equipment, and an introduction to 90 common birds).
2. The Kruger Toolkit (3 sessions – an evergreen course with 130 birds which you are most likely to see in Kruger).
3. Wetlands (Wetlands are a great place to start birding. Three sessions covering 101 waterbirds).
4. Intermediate Birding (3 sessions on upskilling ID skills, with thoughtful approaches, and specifically tackling 70 common species in difficult groups).
5. Raptors (3 sessions on 66 raptors; a really popular course.  Raptors are difficult, not often seen, and show variable age-related plumages).
6. Zululand (2 sessions on target localities and 83 special birds of this rich and rewarding destination).
7. Larks (2 sessions on 31 larks – famously regarded as being so difficult, yet they are easier than you think!).
8. Swifts and Swallows. (2 sessions on 12 swifts and 21 swallows, challenging because they’re aerial, fast-moving, and similar in appearance).
9. Waders ( 2 sessions, which cover 52  waders, another classically challenging group).
10. Longclaws and Pipits. (1 session on 18 species – perhaps the most difficult group of all, but we show how to tackle them!)
11. Cisticolas (1 session on 19 cisticolas – they are easier than you think!)
